TSM have claimed the number one spot in group B, advancing to the semi-finals after a convincing 16-8 victory over G2.

Towards the beginning of the match Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom and Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco combined for four headshots for the pistol round, coupled with an anti-eco afterwards. TSM's plant allowed Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen to buy an AWP, helping his team equalize at 2-2.

Both teams claimed two of the next four rounds to make it 4-4, thanks Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman's quad-kill with a previously saved AWP. When it looked like G2 would retake the lead, Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth stay true to his reputation and clutched a near-impossible 1-on-4.

A great clutch by Xyp9x set off a long streak

That set off TSM's first halftime streak, which was extended to all seven remaining rounds, especially thanks to Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz. Soon they made it ten after taking the second pistol for 14-4.

The teams then exchanged two gunrounds and TSM took it to match point, and it took them three more rounds to close it out at 16-8 and claim first place in group B.

In the next match, the losers of initial battles, Copenhagen Wolves and SK, will duke it out for their lives in the tournament in the elimination match.
